Optics designed for Street and Outdoor Luminaires
About these projects
The projects shown here represent a part of the work we’ve developed over the years. Each one was tailored to meet specific goals, performance criteria, and client needs. While many others of the designs we’ve worked on are confidential or proprietary, this sample gives a glimpse into the kind of solutions we can create.
If you have a particular challenge or need in optical design, we’ll be glad to explore how we can support your project with the same attention to detail and technical precision.
About the Software
The optical design software used in these projects is typically owned by the client’s company. In most cases, We’re granted access to their licensed tools during the development process of the optics we are contracted to design.
If a client does not have specialized optical software, we can acquire the necessary licenses for a limited period to carry out the required work.
We have extensive experience using LightTools for optical simulations and SolidWorks to integrate the optical design with the mechanical structure.
Over the years, We’ve also used a variety of other software tools, which has allow us deliver accurate and professional results. In each project shown, you’ll find information about the specific software used to develop the optics.
About the expertise in every design
We always adapt to our clients’ specific requirements and constraints, we bring the added value of being able to design optical systems with a higher degree of precision and performance. This means going beyond basic functionality—whether that involves improving uniformity, optimizing beam distribution, increasing optical efficiency, or minimizing glare.
Our approach is not just to deliver what is requested, but to contribute technical insight that can enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of the lighting system. We pay special attention to the photometric details that impact visual comfort, regulatory compliance, and real-world performance, especially in demanding environments such as streetlighting.
Whether the project involves custom optics or the integration of off-the-shelf components, We aim to ensure the optical design is as refined and effective as possible.
Other Optical Designs for General Lighting Application
We have designed a wide variety of optics beyond street lighting, addressing the specific needs of general lighting applications. These include reflectors, collimators, TIR optics, and edge-lit panels, among others. Each design was tailored to meet unique performance goals such as uniform light distribution, high efficiency, or visual comfort, depending on the application.
These projects span across different industries—including commercial lighting, industrial lighting, architectural lighting, horticulture and decorative or edge-lit panels—requiring a careful balance between optical performance and mechanical integration. Our experience in these areas allows us to adapt optical principles to diverse technical and aesthetic requirements, always in collaboration with each client’s vision and constraints.
