T3 Arquitectural Lens
The objective of this lens was to achieve an asymmetrical T3 distribution while maintaining the architectural aesthetic of the luminaire
Features
- T3 Distribution
- maintains the architectural lens aesthetic
Challenges
The primary challenge was to manteining optical efficiency in regions where higher flow accumulation was needed. It is important to note that these specific areas required larger angles of incidence to achieve the T3 distribution. Consequently, this led to an increase in internal total reflection in those regions, resulting in a decrease in overall efficiency
Solution
The solution involved creating various design zones tailored to the specific zonal lumen requirements of the distribution. This approach also considered the optimal design and thicknesses necessary for both the optical specifications and the practical manufacturability.
