This lens was engineered to achieve T2 light distribution while accommodating a high luminous flux across an array of 16 optics

Challenges
The primary challenge was to control de five-side emmiter LED and mitigate the formation of a hotspot beneath the luminaire without losing optical efficiency
Solution
The design was based on prioritizing the top surface of the LED. This approach allowed to mitigate stray light emitted from the sides and avoid the need for a large optic to control all the luminous flux
The lens-to-LED size ratio was not ideal, so it was requiered to optimize the design manually by adjusting the lens shape and LED position.
